An Open Air performance space, nestling in the midst of beautiful rolling Hertfordshire countryside, The Living Theatre is a non-profit organisation and arts space started in 2020. Originally built from an old dumping ground by founder Julia Fisher, the theatre is run by a core team of Emma Fisher, James Schofield and Stephanie Booth with our board of trustees Julia Fisher, Andy Barker, Imogen Powell and Monika Skwierczynska.
The Living Theatre launches publicly on social media citing a mission to promote community engagement and positive wellbeing through access to a rural open air performance space, with a focus on the mental wellbeing of young people.
